Jay-Z has always lived in a Billionaire state of mind, but now it’s official.

In a new cover feature, Forbes states that the star – real name Shawn Carter – possesses an empire that now “conservatively totals $1 billion.”
Long a fan of diversifying his business interests, Jay has his hands in music, a streaming service, liquor, art, real estate and stakes in other companies.
The financial publication also made a notable observation about the 49-year-old’s business gravitas — he’s built many of his brands from the ground up. These include the Rocawear clothing line (which sold for $204 million in 2007); D’Ussé, a cognac he co-owns with Bacardi; and his multi-focused Roc Nation music/sports juggernaut.
Few have done it like Hov – and few ever will.
