Being a guy who isn't well versed in the history of Classic Fragrances, I do not know what ones are still worth purchasing, even though they have probably been reformulated.
I am talking about stuff like Cool Water, Polo Green, Drakkar Noir, Stetson, Old Spice, Grey Flannel, Aspen, Giorgio, Eternity, Obsession, Azzaro Pour Homme, etc.
I am sure there are many, many more that I am not mentioning, or am even aware of, so I decided to ask the experts here. Being new to the fragrance community, I feel like there is probably a lot of stuff out there that I have missed out on, but I am afraid to purchase due to reformulations changing the fragrance entirely. The Polo Green thread was especially disheartening, as I really want to try it, but if it's that much different (due to missing oakmoss) then I feel like I wouldn't really be experiencing the same thing at all.
What say you? Are there any classic fragrances that are still worth picking up?
