Best beginner woody scents for F/W and S/S?

Hello Basenotes! This is my first post although I have been enjoying everyone’s posts and reviews for about a month now. Could I please have some suggestions for Woody colognes for fall/winter and spring/summer for dressed up casual outfits (button down shirts, jeans, and boots)? I am a 24 year old male so I’m looking for something modern with a bit of sophistication. These would also be my first cologne purchases so I would like to spend less than $50 a bottle if possible.

For F/W, I’m thinking of an oriental or earthy, woody scent that is not hyper-masculine. For S/S, I would like a fresher woody scent, maybe with some florals or citrus?

After some sampling sessions, I like Tom Ford’s Grey Vetiver, Chanel Allure Homme, and Dolce and Gabbana’s pour Homme. I also like Dior Homme and think it has a nice F/W scent. On my to-sample list is Chanel Egoiste, Cartier Declaration, and Bulgari pour Homme Extreme.

How do you think these fragrances fit for what I’m looking for? Do you have any other suggestions? I know I’m being specific but I would really appreciate anything! Thank you!
