Budget fragrance(s) for a 22m hipster/preppy college student? (Fragrance clones?)

Hey everyone,

I'm a 22 year old college student from Germany and looking for a (or several) fragrance(s), was hoping I could get some help here.
My main goal wearing a fragrance is smelling nice to and attracting girls, to be honest - ones around my age, also going to college, preferrably. However, I'm trying to steer clear of fragrances that would be considered douchey; anything too reminiscent of Axe or something a stereotypical Guido would wear is a no-go for me. Stereotypical Guidettes aren't who I'm trying to attract, anyway. “Twee style“ girls are more my type (google it if you don't know it).

My own style is somewhere between hipster and preppy, I guess. Shorts and tees/henley shirts/polos in the summer; Converse/Vans Authentic to go with that. Sweaters, cardigans, sweatshirts in the winter, with boots like Red Wings and unicolored jeans. Peacoats, bomber jackets and parkas for outerwear.
My colors are earth tones, neutral colors and desatured (like maroon) colors. Only rarely flashy colors.
Based on that, not sure what notes would work best, but looking at The Fragrance Wheel™, fresh and woody notes seem appealing to me.
What do you say, based on what I told you about me?
Any fragrances you can recommend?

I should add that as a student, I'm on a budget, so I wanna hear your opinion on “clone fragrances“. I saw a report on TV saying they are almost as good as the real thing, for a fraction of the price. Is this true, or are they notably inferior? If such a fragrance clone would last considerably less long (e. g. I'd put it on and only an hour later it'll have stopped smelling), then that's not something I'd want.

Do you recommend getting different fragrances for different times of day, year? If so, which?

In short, hit me with your suggestions!

Looking forward to your replies
