Hello all !
a few weeks ago I was browsing the French website of Dior and I saw that Diorama was listed although temporarily unavailable. I was very surprised as I thought they had discontinued it (I hadn't seen it on the website for a couple of years and I think Basenotes indicated that it was discontinued indeed) but nevertheless I registered to be informed when it would be back in stock. My hopes were not too high and I expected a message that it was definitely discontinued. It is back and I just bought another back-up bottle this morning!
I think I will send them an email too. I never understood their retail policy for the classic Dior perfumes. When it was first reissued a few years ago I found about its existence by chance while on holidays in Italy. I never saw Diorama in a brick and mortar shop in France while I can easily find Diorella, Diorissimo and Eau fraîche, sometimes Dioressence (never Diorling either I think). The downside is that the price on the Dior website is the highest retail price... At least they are generous with samples.
I think I can safely spray with abandon. For now.
Edited to add: fingers crossed about reformulation/tweaking
