I've been meaning to for weeks but I finally got myself over to the Arabian Oud boutique in Times Square.

The packaging is really elaborate. First, once I paid for it, the sales associate put it into a special Kalemat shopping bag:

There is an external box:

That box opens like a set of double-doors. Inside was another box:

The scent is really lovely. The amber, woods, and honey all come through, and though the honey of course adds sweetness, it is not (to my nose) overly sweet or cloying. (At least, not in the opening -- I just got back from the store and haven't had it on my skin for very long.) I'll be able to provide a more detailed report after I get some full-day wearings out of it. But I'm very pleased with it thus far.
