Man accused of putting secret camera in Stater Bros. bathroom pleads not guilty

A man who police say placed hidden cameras in the public bathrooms of several Coachella Valley businesses entered a not guilty plea in an Indio courtroom on Friday.

Jason Pomare, a 41-year-old Desert Hot Springs resident, was arrested for installing a camera at the Cathedral City Stater Bros. According to the felony complaint, he also installed a camera in the bathroom of the Palm Springs Albertson’s, reports KESQ – along with a Chipotle restaurant in the desert (the exact location was not given),

He has been charged with three felony counts of possessing matter depicting a child in a sexual act, as well as then misdemeanor counts of unlawful use of a concealed camera to secretly videotape.
