Ghanaian hiplife heavyweight Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie has publicly opened up about his deep love and admiration for his perceived competitor, M.anifest.
It could be recalled that the two rappers have been on each other’s throat battling for some space within the Ghanaian music industry for some time.
The ‘beef’ between the two stars swept across the country pitching their fans and some industry watchers against each other.
But Sarkordie who was speaking at the 2017 edition of Africa Dialogue admitted that he loves M.anifest and his style of music and host of other Ghanaian acts.
“I love Pappy Kojo, Joey B, B4Bonah and Strongman who happens to be the youngest kid on his label”, Sark said.
He added that, his consistent advice to young up and coming talents is to be super creative and develop their own unique way of relating with their audience.
He also disclosed that a lot more young artistes approach him wanting his advice on how they can be relevant in the music industry.
Sark also revealed that he has been marketable and relevant in the industry due to his consistency and his strong state of mind.
The rapper has been very influential in the Ghanaian music industry and across the boarders over the years.
He is currently set to release his album titled ‘Highest’ on September 8, 2017.
‘Highest’ is a collection of 15 brand new songs, three interludes, and a bonus track, making 19 tracks in total.
