Katrina Kaif, who was about to perform on stage on the night, injured herself on the sets of Jagga Jasoos. Now, she got a replacement in Kareena Kapoor Khan. Yep! Kareena will be seen shaking a leg on stage at the Zee Cine Awards 2017.

We just wonder how she prepared for the performance at such a short notice. She said that this is the best phase of her life and it feels great to be back on the stage. Zee Cine Awards is a celebration of the excellence of the Indian Cinema and being a part of this show truly feels amazing. She is hopeful that the viewers will enjoy the act as much as she did rehearsing and performing it. And we can’t forget that this will be Kareena’s first stage performance after the birth of her son Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi.

We wonder if Shiamak is choreographing Kareena’s performance. The ace choreographer was geared up about Katrina’s dance performance, and had said, that she has known Katrina for years! She has the biggest hit songs this year so it’s a real fun choreographing her act, but he said that he’s doing it differently in his own way which she always loved!

But only yesterday, Katrina’s spokesperson issued a statement, breaking the news that the actress will not be performing at the ceremony. The statement said that it is to clarify that Katrina will no longer be performing at the Zee Cine Awards, owing to an injury she met with on the sets. The doctors have advised her complete rest and to strictly avoid any strenuous physical activity or exertions. Katrina is extremely disappointed as she was not able to work through the injury. She is recovering and will resume work shortly after a period of rest. As read the statement.

Well, it seems the show never stops! Amongst the other acve performers are Sunny Leone, Alia Bhatt, Raveena Tandon, and Varun Dhawan, who will be seen shaking a leg to songs of Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
