The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board has introduced a new Method for The Purchase of PIN for eligible candidates who are ready to take the 2017 Jamb UTME Examination. JAMB introduces Remita Mode to ease the challenges faced by students while trying to purchase the pin from various banks and NIPOST.

JAMB is really working to make sure candidates gets the best for their UTME this year, earlier JAMB Reduced the Examination time to two Hours, Initiated the Eight-Key Device System and report also has it that it also reduce it’s number of examination Questions and now to Cop the challenges faced by students in Purchasing their Pin from NIPOST and Banks, they introduced new Method; ‘Remita MODE‘.

JAMB Introduces Remita Mode for Easy PIN Purchase

Mr Fabian Benjamin, the head of JAMB information said that the Board has noted the stress and headache candidates has to face in getting the Pin from the Bank and also what the Prospective Candidates face  during the time of their registration.

In what some Candidate described Frustrating, and annoying. Imagine candidates having to Queue up as early as 2-3am in the morning in some areas Just to be able to get the PIN from the bank, of which they spend the whole day without accomplishing the Mission.

Often times, after the whole queuing, it ends up that the bank loses network or can’t access the JAMB site for the Pins.

Dr Fabian, has advised candidates not to Panic or give up their quest for the 2017 examination, as the New method employed will give them the registration they want before it all ends in April 19th, 2017.

In his statement he said “candidates can now purchase the pin through Remita Mode, even at the comfort of their Home, aside from the Banks and NIPOST“.

He also sounded a note of warning to candidates to avoid centres which are not approved by JAMB for Registration to avoid them being defrauded.
