TINY HARRIS, DEB ANTNEY, KAWAN PRATHER AND MORE HONORED AT 2017 BLACK MUSIC MOGULS BRUNCH

After putting in years of hard work, six Music Moguls were presented with awards at the 2017 Black Music Moguls Brunch. The Black Music Moguls brunch was founded by Niya Skyy, an Atlanta publicist and media curator, with the intent to uplift and celebrate those who aren't always recognized, or who don't always receive credit for their hard work and continuous efforts towards pushing the urban music culture forward. The mission of the brunch is to celebrate the achievements and success of the honorees, but to also let them know that their hard work hasn't gone unnoticed, and that there are still people supporting them, and rooting for them to keep winning and keep reaching higher!
This year's brunch was held at Medusa Lounge in Atlanta. VIP invites from all over came out to enjoy good food and  celebrate the accomplishments of Tameka “Tiny” Harris, Debra Antney, 2Chainz, Kawan Prather, Girvan “Fly” Henry, and Karen Civil. The room was filled with music executives, artists, celebrities, producers, and a combination of others who play major roles in the music industry.
This year's Black Music Moguls brunch was co-produced by Niya Skyy (Skyy Communications), Emma Jackson (Skyy Level Media), and Malita Rice (Mogul Mentality). Sponsors that participated in this year's brunch include: Audi Marietta, Tropic Ilse Living, 1-800-Injured, Ciroc and Bellaire. Audi Marietta brought two of their newest models out on the red carpet for VIP's to take photos with and admire. Tropic Ilse Living also made sure that all of the attendees got to take home some goodies for their hair!
Celebrities such as Yandy Smith, Alexis Skyy, Demetria McKinney, Rico Wade, Final Draft and others made special appearances in honor and support of their fellow honorees. Our official red carpet correspondent MiAsia Symone was able to discuss the journeys of Debra Antney, Kawan Prather, and Tiny Harris as it relates to the advice they would give to anyone trying to make it in the music industry.
