It must be nice to be in Queen Bey's presence or even get the chance to collaborate with her. We're all envious of Laverne Cox right now.

The Orange Is the New Black star is collaborating with Beyonce on a new project. The actress confirmed to Access Hollywood on Tuesday (Aug. 22). 

The details of the alleged project are sparse right now, but Cox did express her excitement. 

"I have no idea [how this came about] to be perfectly honest," she said. "I'm like, does she pick out her biggest fans ever and work with her? It's pretty amazing."

In a follow-up post on her twitter account, Cox revealed that further details would be available September 6th.

Laverne recalled meeting her favorite at this year's Grammy awards.

“She got up for me!” Cox told Access Hollywood. “Beyoncé stood up for me and said just the loveliest things. She had seen my Lip Sync Battle performance [in which she recreated a Destiny's Child hit], she just knew that I was a huge fan, I guess people had been telling her.”]

In her standom, she concluded, “She’s a queen.”
