Serious Dangers Of Eating Canned Foods

Do you eat Canned foods? How often do you eat canned foods? Are canned foods good for you?

A large amount of foods that are sold in the supermarkets are canned, all of which poses harm to your health. Why eat canned foods and get exposed to danger, instead of going for natural foods which are free of preservatives and good for your health?

Most canned foods are likely to have BPA (bisphenol A) – a chemical known to cause breast cancer, reproductive problems, heart disease and other chronic health problems.

Cans have a special covering manufactured with this chemical. This harmful chemical accumulates in the body and its effects are dangerous. Eating canned foods has become a daily habit for many of us because of the ease of preparing for meal. BPA -when tested- kills rats in laboratories even at smaller portions. It causes hormone imbalances and a wide variety of health issues. You can opt for packaged foods in glass jars instead of canned ones.

What most people do not know is that most canned foods are put into aluminium cans, sealed, and then cooked, supposedly to retain freshness. But, in the end, the food certainly retains the aluminium free radicals available after heating and it leads the food contaminated.

Aluminum accumulation in the body can cause dire memory issues like Alzheimer. Some people may actually believe that the plastic lining of the aluminium cans was used to prevent corrosion and the contamination of the food. But the factual truth is that most of the time, these plastic liners do not completely protect the food against aluminium since it can an leak when heated and even while they are sealed.

In addition, an extensive amount of sodium (salt) is used to keep the preservatives found in canned food fresh so that it can keep the food from rotting. These preservatives are much more harmful to not just healthy people, but to pregnant women, children, babies, elderly, or anyone that has a chronic disease.

Foods like pinto beans, tuna, fruit juice, or vegetables when canned could put your health at risk. Instead of canned foods, go for foods stored in glass jars. Do not consume fruits, vegetables, soups, or grains in cans.
