National Guard troops have reached northern California to join rescue teams to search what has left behind in paradise town after the Camp Fire burned it.

A wildfire, known as Camp Fire, has killed 48 people. Almost 100 military police sent to help in rescue and searching operation.

Sierra Fire

A new wind-driven fire is also looming San Bernardino County homes on Tuesday. The new brush blaze, named the Sierra Fire, has scorched close to homes in Rialto. It also burned 20 acres in 15 minutes due to heavy winds. No migrations have ordered thus, 75% of it has contained.

The Camp Fire has become the deadliest fire in history. The crews have controlled 35% of the Camp Fire in northern California. They failed to fully contain the blaze that has destroyed 130,000 acres (52,600 ha) till the end of the month.

Rescue Efforts

National Guard troops have sent in the destroyed town of Paradise in Butte County. They will help forensics teams and cadaver dogs to search for human leftovers as dozens of people are still missing.

Three portable morgue teams from the US military, disaster mortuary crew and three groups of forensic anthropologists are there at the scene.

Most of the victims in Paradise town were elderly residents who would have found withdrawal from the area more difficult.

Electric Fault

Many lawsuits were filed against an electricity company, Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), for starting the blazed. According to US media, the electricity company had reported an issue with a power line where the Camp Fire kindled just minutes before the fire spotted.

The cause behind how wildfire started remains unclear. However, the California Public Utilities Commissions (CPUC) declared to conduct investigations into PG&E and other electric company, Southern California Edison (SCE).

CPUC spokeswoman further revealed the investigations would “assess the compliance of electric facilities with applicable rules and regulations in fire-impacted areas”.
