Taking selfies on Train tracks or dangerous locations is an illegal practice which has claimed a lot of lives and is on rise. Now, a Thai woman lost her live while doing same practice on a train track in Thailand.
One of their friend reported that woman and her male friend were drinking. They decided to take selfie with train but, unfortunately they didn’t see the coming train on the other track.
As a result, the woman aged 24 had her leg cut off and later died in hospital. Her male friend also severely injured.
The incident occurred early at Samsen station in Bangkok on Thursday morning. Police officer, Wissanusak Seub-in told media that they are still investigating the incident.
It has emerged a dangerous trend to take video or selfie while standing in front of fast-approaching train, particularly in India.
Earlier in January, a man hit by an incoming train in an effort to films a video of himself in Hyderabad, India. In October 2017, a train ran over three teenagers in their efforts to take a selfie in Karnataka state. Two teenagers also killed while taking selfies in Delhi.
