Madam Catherine Ablema Afeku, the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, says the Ministry has secured a permit from the National Communication Authority to set up a tourism TV to advance the Ghanaian culture, expressions and tourism goals in the nation.
She said plausibility examines had been led and the archives sent to an advisor to help secure an office convenience for the TV, while hot arrangement was in progress to dispatch it.
Madam Afeku made the divulgence when she went ahead at the Meet-the-Press Series in Accra, on Monday.
The occasion gives a stage to the Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to react to scrutinizes, reactions and give advance clarification on usage of government projects and approaches and also get input from the general population.
The Minister gave a summary of the different exercises the Ministry attempted in the previous 11 months since she expected office.
A few exercises attempted by the Ministry amid the year under audit are; the festival of the National Chocolate Day, support in the World Tourism Forum in Turkey, remodel and re-opening of the Kintampo Waterfall after the fatal tempest calamity, marking of Memorandum of Understanding with partners at Kintampo to streamline income gathering at the waterfall, outdooring of Tourism Ambassadors, Excellence Breakfast Forum and different activities to round up more income for the legislature.
