Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is expected to return soon to Ghana.Parliamentary Affairs Minister and Majority Leader in Parliament, Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu has exposed reports credited to him, guaranteeing Dr. Bawumia will come back to the nation in seven days.

Dr. Bawumia was flown out of Ghana to the United Kingdom (UK) on Friday, January 19 for medicinal consideration after purportedly taken sick.

The Veep’s medicinal leave was made known by the Chief of Staff, Frema Opare who reported to the overall population.

As indicated by Starr News’ Parliamentary Correspondent Ibrahim Alhassan, he talked with the Majority Leader who uncovered that the Vice President is in great condition and will return inside seven days.

“The Vice President truly, I’ll reveal to you that he is alright. Be that as it may, he has been requested to rest a bit. You know Ghanaians in the event that he should come now, such a large number of individuals will troop to his home and in this manner he wouldn’t have room schedule-wise to rest,” he told Ibrahim including “which is the reason I think the specialists chose that [he should] keep on resting a bit for no less than one more week or so before coming”, the Majority Leader was cited.

However, talking in a meeting on Peace News @ 6pm, Hon. Mensah-Bonsu put on record that he never gave such confirmation but instead conceded the Vice President has completely recovered and would have returned to Ghana at all normal time to continue his official obligations.
