A previous Vice-Chancellor of University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), Professor Joshua Alabi has firmly expressed that the restriction National Democratic Congress (NDC) needs to join with a specific end goal to crusade against the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) from winning the 2020 races.

As per him, the NPP won’t have breathing space if the NDC as a gathering meets up in solidarity to battle for the 2020 general races.

He stated, “I am certain that on the off chance that we can join together, as I have said some time recently, with previous president Rawlings, previous president Mahama, previous Vice President Paa Kwesi Ammisah Arthur, over a significant time span party chairpersons and different officials and including driving individuals from the gathering, NPP won’t have breathing space and we should win race 2020 with God on my side.”

Prof Alabi believes that there is no ‘enemy’ within the party but the ‘enemy’ is outside and it is only through unity that the NDC can fight that ‘enemy’.

The NDC signal carrier cheerful made this comments at a social gathering he sorted out for some of his battle individuals and companions at his East Legon living arrangement.

Prof Alabi has demonstrated awesome enthusiasm for the NDC flagbearership race, saying his most prominent wish is to lead the NDC in the 2020 decisions.

Aside from him, there are a large group of NDC stalwarts who are on the whole wanting to upstage ex-President Mahama as the NDC’s banner carrier for 2020 on the grounds that many claim he doesn’t have what it takes to keep running for the most astounding office, again following his abysmal performance in the last election that culminated in his and the party’s defeat.
