In Accra 2 more Victims who were caught up in the La gas blast at the Trade Fair Centre on Thursday have expired.
This brings the total number of deaths to Eleven with 42 others receiving cure after sustaining several degrees of wounds.

The nurse on duty told media Efua Evans-Chinery who was at the Burns Unit Korle Bu Teaching Hospital where the latest death was noted on Saturday and Sunday said the dead suffered severe burns.

At the thirty seven Military Hospital where 4 victims are in the Intensive Care Unit, most of the victims are responding to treatment.

President John Mahama has been to the ability to visit and console the victims.

President-elect Akufo-Addo during his tour of the Hospital on Sunday sympathized with the victims and pleaded with doctors to do all they can to protect the lives of those still on admission.

“It is a sad occurrence that Christmas which is supposed to be a time of happiness, people have had to experience this. It is very unlucky,” he said.

Health Minister, Alex Segbefia was also at the hospital on Friday and assured the best of care for the patients.
