Q: First of all we want to say welcome to you.
A:
Thank you

Q: How did you come into music industry?
A:
Started playing with a band called El Tiempo and Los Caminantes which basically are an old style grupero genre from the 80’s. I kind of learned the Music business from there.

Q: Who was your inspiration for music?
A:
Got inspired from many different genres I like to take inspirations from different styles of music and little nuances here and there and mix them around. Could be Mariachi music and maybe a little bit of norteño would predominates our sound.

Q: What is the name of your debut song?
A:
We have a 12 song debut album called Una Practicada Viejon! It’s basically a fusion of grupero and Norteño music. It has accordion, guitar, bass, and drums.

Q: Say something about your musical journey?
A:
Well it’s been fun as of now hehe. Can’t complain I really see it as a long term thing and luckily now we’re working a lot more. The band’s been having consistent work and we’ve been getting loads of streams on the digital platforms.

Q: Who helped you most in your journey?
A:
I’d like to say my stepdad and father kind of jumpstarted it all in terms of music and the business. The rest was really learning from artists and labels.

Q: Who gave you pieces of advice?
A:
Like I was saying my Dad’s and friends in the business.

Q: What do you do now a days?
A:
We’re still recording and mixing for the most part getting ready for our next singles to be released soon.

Q: Let us know something about your future projects.
A:
Well I have this Christmas special with Cima music coming as a project like “Joni and Ruth.”

Q: What is your message to your fans?
A:
Life’s too short to be unhappy and sometimes we’re just missing a little bit of gratitude to keep our head up. I mean some people can’t even see this blog with their own eyes or don’t have a phone at all or computer. Being grateful is underrated.

Q: Any message for new artist?
A:
Just know that this career isn’t easy and I feel like if more people would know what they’re getting themselves into they would second guess this career choice. Besides that, constant work and more work. It never ends haha releasing music, talking to fans, managers, and other people in the business. There’s so much that goes into it but I guess if you take it day by day everything should be fine.
