Q: First of all we want to say welcome to you.
A:
Thank you so much for having me it’s a pleasure!

Q: How did you come into music industry?
A:
I used to write poetry in high school and my early 20’s. I even mastered the Haiku! It was when I was in choir in Long Beach about 6 years ago that I realized I want to write and sing as a solo artist. I never wanted or desired to be a singer before, but I realized I enjoyed it alot. I have a good ear so I can pick up beats and rhyming comes easy. I had to learn song structure and pitch which I am still learning as I write. I can write a song, poem or rap for just about anything.

Q: Who was your inspiration for music?
A:
When I was growing up all we listened to was old school Music. I don’t know if you’re familiar with WHUR Howard University Radio but they play “quiet storm” music at night, and some of it is older music that I grew up with and contemporary soul music. I love Phylis Hyman. She’s was a Cancer like I am, so I understand the emotion she puts into her music. I love Leelah James, and I have followed Maysa throughout her career with Incognito.

Q: What is the name of your debut song?
A:
I am releasing 2 songs: I Can’t Live Without You and You’re Not a Friend of Mine

Q: Say something about your musical journey?
A:
Recording and promoting music is alot more complicated than I thought, however I am always up for a challenge.

Q: Who helped you most in your journey?
A:
The folks at Love and Laughter Studios in Anaheim. They are a team of knowledgeable professionals that like to see their artists succeed. I had the tools and encouragement I needed to follow through.

Q: Who gave you pieces of advice?
A:
I have a friend that’s been in the business with several recordings under her belt, and she said to just be open to learning. Music is an ever evolving medium and if your adaptable you will make it

Q: What do you do now a days?
A:
I started learning to play electric guitar in September. I am taking neosoul guitar under the direction of Kerry “2Smooth” Marshall’s Kerry’s Kamp. I play a few rhythms to backing tracks on Instagram under my “Guitar Recess” series

Q: Let us know something about your future projects
A:
I am finishing up the recording for my EP to be released in June.

Q: What is your message to your fans?
A:
Thank you so much for your support! Sending love and light into the universe. Don’t ever be discouraged, and to do what you feel compelled to do because tomorrow is not promised.

Q: Any message for new artist?
A:
Practice and learn from more experienced artists. Don’t be afraid to collaborate. Make sure you have the right tools to accomplish your project.
