The Beatles changed everything when they came to the U.S. in February of 1964.  On their appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show they were allowed an unprecedented amount of input on their performance.  However there was one area that even the Beatles could not influence, Ed's introduction.  Manager Brian Epstein said to Ed, "I would like to know the exact wording of your intro to the Beatles."  Sullivan replied with "I would like for you to get lost."
