A wonderful breath of fresh-air comes within the Music of Andy Michaels and his released full-length album “Revisited”. The Australian singer and songwriter has the poignant soul of a poet. While composing every single in the album, he pairs up with some musicians such as the UK born Kerrie Ironside, Andy Court and Sharon Court for the final glaze. His songs have been described as “true adult contemporary music” due to their depth and he, himself shares that he’s been compared from Cat Stevens to Maroon 5, Coldplay, Counting Crows, Pink Floyd and Peter Gabriel although his music is unique and has great vitality. He takes the comparisons with a smile as the only thing he wants is to be always evolving as an artist.

Andy has established a strong following over the years and has not lost his passion for performing as he has regular shows in Australia, as well as in Asia. His songs have received radio play in many countries including Australia, USA, England, Canada, South Africa, Switzerland and Netherlands, where his songs have been syndicated to multiple radio stations.

The album itself has a track of every genre, a poetic combination of powerful ballads such as “Angel” and “Where are you now” and the fast-paced guitar in the cheerful “I just want to be the one”. We love the positive vibe that Andy brings up in his storytelling open-hearted lyrics. Although Andy’s never planned a career in music he’s performed on TV, while backed by a twenty-piece orchestra, in front of over a million viewers. Having overcome a lot in his life from injuries, convalescing and lately the music business he has played guitar since a car accident left him temporarily incapacitated before he was 20 years of age. There’s definitely an “Angel” by his side!

Within a composition that is very adult-contemporary, but could almost crossover to country, he’s fusing pop and rock in a compelling manner. The album is a true inspiration and carries away the listener of every age and genre. “Will there be love” brings up the goosebumps while “Lucretia’s Eylandt” is based on a true story. Moving and reflective the album establishes strong connection with every emotional experience one could have had in their personal world.
