China Box Office: T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar and Maddock Films’ Hindi Medium opened to a flying start in China on the day of its release on April 4. The movie has been maintaining a fantastic momentum since then.
The film amassed USD $ 3.68 million on its opening day. Because it opened on Wednesday, it enjoyed an extended weekend of USD $ 21.33 million (138.42 crores)
The high on content film has emerged as the second biggest Bollywood opener of all time after Secret Superstar. The movie collected USD $ 1.29 million on its 1st Monday and USD $ 1.20 million on its 1st Tuesday at the China box office. Till now the movie has collected USD $ 23.82 million (155.10 crores).
Hindi Medium surpassed the opening day collections of Dangal and Bajrangi Bhaijaan in China. The quirky social comment on the education system, Hindi Medium, is only expected to grow stronger in the Chinese market.
