Ajay Devgn’s Raid trailer was one of the trailers that got famous because of the amazing content. The impactful trailer was loved by the audiences. Apart from Ajay devgn, the film also features Ileana D’Cruz and Saurabh Shukla. The film directed by Raj Kumar Gupta will see Ajay as Amay Patnaik, Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax in Lucknow.

The makers have now released the first song of the film. It is titled as Sanu Ek Pal. Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s classic song is recreated by Tanishk Bagchi. The song is sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and the lyrics are penned by Manoj Muntashir.

The song beautifully captures the emotions of Ajay Devgn and Ileana D’cruz’s characters. Their chemistry is remarkable throughout the song.

The movie is said to be set in the ’80s and its plot is centred around a famous income tax Raid that happened in UP. Devgn is reportedly playing an IT officer in the movie. Raid will be the second collaboration of Ileana D’Cruz with Devgn after 2017’s Baadshaho. The script is written by Ritesh Shah who has been associated with Pink and Airlift.

The song was released today. The golden trio of Rahat Fateh Ali khan, Ajay Devgn and Ileana D’cruz which gave us the hit song Mere Rashke Qamar last year is yet again here to make the audiences swoon over their music.

Gulshan Kumar & T series present, A Panorama Studios Production, Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak, Raid is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta. The film releases on 16th March 2018.

Director Raj Kumar Gupta is known to make the film with a touch of realism to it so we are expecting Raid to give more insights into the case of the 80s. His last film Ghanchakkar did not cash in at the box-office, so let’s see if Raid does it for him.
