You Guide to Free Boston Calling Block Parties

Every Thursday from mid-May through mid-September, head to Dewey Square Park in Boston for Boston Calling’s FREE Block Parties! Enjoy live music and fun from 5-8 pm every Thursday for free.

The events are free and open to the public, but keep in mind these events are 21+ as alcohol is served (via cash bar) at these events as well.

The free Boston Calling Block Party concert schedule hasn’t been announced yet for 2020, but every year, it’s a great lineup of local talent. We’ll post the full schedule below as soon as it’s been released.

The free Boston Calling Block Party Series is a great chance to get outdoors and enjoy some live music while hanging out with friends and enjoying some tasty brews. In previous years, beer (and other alcohol) selections have included Leinenkugel, Blue Moon, Miller Lite, Peroni, and Cape Line Sparkling Cocktails.

The Boston Calling Block Party Series is presented in partnership with The Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy, and it’s an extension of the hugely popular 3-day Boston Calling Music Festival, taking place from May 22-24, 2020. It’s always one of the most popular things to do in Boston on the weekend each year.

This year’s Boston Calling music festival headliners include Foo Fighters, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Rage Against the Machine, Run The Jewels, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The 1975, Liam Gallagher, and many others.
