The Discovery Museum in Acton, Massachusetts is opening their doors to an all-new museum in February!
After an expansion and complete renovation, the Discovery Museum is opening their doors to the community for a grand opening celebration the weekend of February 10-11, 2018 from 9-4:30 PM each day. Children 12 and under are free all weekend as a thank you to the community.
The Discovery Museum is roughly 25 miles north west of Boston in Acton, Massachusetts and a great museum for kids!
Admission to the Discovery Museum is $12.50 for adults and children, and children under 1 are free. Teachers are always free to the Discovery Museum as well as military members and family members up to 4 people. There are also library passes available for half off admission at certain libraries and EBT and WIC cardholders in Massachusetts can receive admission for $1 for up to 5 additional family members.
Also, the first Friday night of each month during the school year (except September) and every Friday night during the summer (beginning late June) is open for free from 4:30 to 8:00pm. The Discovery Museum will gratefully accept non-perishable food donations for local food pantries.
