Twenty-nine year old Brooklyn rapper, Phresher, has been steadily putting in work for the past few years. From his breakout single, “Wait A Minute”, to his more recent singles like “Keep It Up”, the New York native has shown and proved his ability to put together strong records. Today, Phresher has set out to prove that he can also put together strong, full-length projects. This Friday marks the release of Phresher’s biggest project to date, PH.
Early this morning, Phresher posted the album’s cover with an long-winded caption that read, “But here it goes! Blood, Sweat, & Tears. Over the past 2 years, I’ve LEARNED a lot about people; MORE IMPORTANTLY myself … I’ve LEARNED not to BLAME PEOPLE for things they do to you … Instead BLAME YASELF for allowing it to be done.” Phresher also added, “I’ve LEARNED to APPRECIATE the people that APPRECIATE ME,” he continued. “Instead of chasing the ones that DON’T GIVE A F*CK about ME … I’ve LEARNED that anytime u have to FORCE yaself on someone or onto a situation, IT WILL NEVER WORK.”
On the sixteen track project, the Brooklyn native calls on Busta Rhymes, Jay Critch, Dream Doll, Joey Bada$$, Cardi B and more for the release of his star studded solo project. Check the full body of work out above and let us know what you think.
