As expected with their season on a downward spiral, the Cleveland Cavaliers have been one of the more active teams on the trade market these past few weeks. Their activity is now culminating with some roster shakeups on trade deadline day.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Cavs have agreed to a major 3-team deal that brings them some backcourt support in the form of Rodney Hood and George Hill.

The Sacramento Kings and Utah Jazz are obviously the other teams involved in the deal. Wojnarowski reports that the Jazz added Cleveland misfits Derrick Rose and Jae Crowder while the Kings received veteran forward Joe Johnson and wing Iman Shumpert from the Cavs.

This will be the second deal Cleveland is involved in already. Cleveland pulled off a deal with the Los Angeles Lakers to send Isaiah Thomas in exchange for some younger pieces so it’s clear the Cavs’ recent implosion isn’t being taken lightly.

Expect the Cavs to continue gauging the trade market as they make a push towards getting out of the East for the fourth consecutive season.
