Late in the New Orleans Pelicans home win over the Houston Rockets, Demarcus Cousins went down with a leg injury. He hit the floor and immediately collapsed. He was not able to stand on his own and eventually was helped off the court.

It immediately looked bleak for the four-time All-Star and new member of Team LeBron for the 2018 NBA All-Star game. Although Cousins has not received the results from an MRI, it is being reported that an initial diagnosis on Cousins’ has determined he suffered a torn left Achilles.

Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports and Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN first reported the initial diagnosis.
