Jeremy Maclin will have a new home just about ten days after the Kansas City Chiefs and his longtime head coach Andy Reid released him. Maclin saw his 2016 season get cut short due to a groin injury, but his two-year stint with the Chiefs was an overall success.

The 29-year-old veteran pass catcher will take his talents back to the east coast and join another former Philly coach. It was announced that the Baltimore Ravens had secured his services on a two-year deal. Maclin will join offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg who held the same position with the Philadelphia Eagles at the start of Maclin’s career.

The Ravens were also reportedly in the mix for soon-to-be-released or traded New York Jets wideout Eric Decker but they elected to ride with Maclin.

In his only two seasons with the Chiefs, Maclin caught 172 passes for 2,406 yards and 18 touchdowns. Before that, he spent five seasons with the Eagles, going to the Pro Bowl once in 2014, his lone 1,000 yard receiving yard season in Philly.
