Anime Festival Asia (AFA) returns Singapore with more spectacular and insightful of Japanese Pop Culture and Anime exhibition located at the Suntec City Level 3 and 4 @ Convention Hall from 25th to 27th November 2016.
Into the 9th years of Anime Festival Asia in Singapore, this year event featured over 130 Exhibitors with 200 booths of exclusive merchandise, content, showcases. Visitors can look forward to a lively weekends with several of line-up action packed programme, including of experience the interactive zones as well as photo opportunity with your favourite Cosplayers and Japanese artistes. Look out for the passionate Cosplayers with fashionista costumes and grab your photography opportunity with them at the Suntec City level 3 and 4.
Purchase exclusive merchandise from Japan
Fans and collectors can purchase the original merchandise direct from Japan, including merchandise exclusive to the festival, will be available for savvy shoppers.
Wakuwaku Japan with Mr PPAP - Piko-taro
Are you crazy about the PPAP (Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen)? Yes! In this year Anime Festival Asia Singapore 2016 exhibition, you may challenge your fashions style with the PPAP guy at the Wakuwaku Japan booth. Is FOC!
Sword Art Online Interactive Zone and Marketplace
Anime Fans and visitors can look forward to immersive experiences at various experience zones, including a Sword Art Online centric exhibition booth that showcases artwork and animation cuts of all seasons of this beloved series.
Kawaii hands on experience at the NHK World Booth
One of the highlight at the NHK World booth is the TIME AFTER TIME CAPSULE project lead by Japanese fashion artists – Mr Sebastian Masuda. Visitors can create their own kawaii inspired message for the future, make their own kawaii objects, or bring their own items to include in the public art project.
The TIME AFTER TIME CAPSULE aims to cover 10 cities before ultimately heading to its final destination, Tokyo, where the art works from around the world will be displayed together in Tokyo 2020.

Concert lovers can look forward to 12 artistes and artiste groups over the three-day concert series. Six returning Anisong legends (T.M.Revolution, JAM Project, HoneyWorks / CHiCO with HoneyWorks, Aimer, KOTOKO, and May’n), will be joined by six new additions (HOME MADE KAZOKU, Minori Chihara, Ami Wajima, Alisa Takigawa, Konomi Suzuki and Wake Up, Girls!) on stage.
