The United States Soccer Federation is prepared to begin its next part under the administration of Carlos Cordeiro, who was chosen Saturday to head an association hoping to regroup after the men’s national group neglected to fit the bill during the current year’s World Cup in Russia.
Cordeiro, who won on the third poll with more than 68 percent of the vote, has been the VP to active president Sunil Gulati the previous two years. He is currently accused of running the American end of a joint offer with Mexico and Canada for the privilege to have the 2026 World Cup.
The vote at first highlighted eight hopefuls. Cordeiro pulled far from Kathy Carter, the on-leave leader of Major League Soccer’s showcasing arm.
