Replying back, Chetan reminded Anupama of the 2009 incident, when 3 idiots was the biggest hit and most loved Indian film of the year, and had swept all the awards, but Bhagat had claimed that Vidhu Vinod Chopra had denied him his due credit as a writer on whose book, 5 Point Someone, the film was based. Claiming to be "publicly bullied and driven close to suicide by VVC," Chetan tweeted: "Ma'am, when your husband publicly bullied me, shamelessly collected all the best story awards, tried denying me credit for my story and drove me close to suicide, and you just watched, where was your discourse?"
