Last night, at the Star Screen Awards, we witnessed a lovely reunion between Sara Ali Khan and Ranveer Singh, who had earlier starred together in last year's blockbuster Simmba, directed by Rohit Shetty. Now, as y'all would know, the remixed version of Aankh Maarey form the film as a raging hit, contributing to the film's success while also going down as one of the few remixes that actually did justice to the original, featured in 1996's Tere Mere Sapne on Arshad Warsi and Simran. Incidentally, Warsi and the regular lead cast of the Golmaal franchise also made an appearance in the song and announced Golmaal 5, which drove the audience nuts. Basically, Aankh Maarey is how you do a remix.

Now, as much as the music and the actors in it made the song such a pleasure, the dance steps, too, were quite popular, becoming a hit on the dance floor at several clubs and pubs. It's but natural then that when Sara Ali Khan and Ranveer Singh came together again on the red carpet of the Star Screen Awards, the duo decided to recreate their famous moves from Aankh Maarey. Sara had issued the challenge and Ranveer isn't to ever back out. However, to everyone's, Ranveer was finding it slightly difficult to recollect his moves while Sara was acing them like a pro. In fact, she even declared during their impromptu dance-off that Ranveer can't remember the steps. Watch the video below:

Well, we have to consider the fact that Sara is two films old while Ranveer has hitherto done twelve films over nine years, including countless songs putting together all those films, making it obviously difficult to remember all their steps. Nevertheless, we love how Sara was playfully needling her senior costar without ever crossing the line. She's definitely a charmer to the core.
