It's a double whammy for Shraddha Kapoor! The actress is currently basking in the thunderous success of her two films - Saaho and Chhichhore. Shraddha returned to the big screen, a year after Stree, with a bang. Her action-flick with superstar Prabhas clearly shattered lots of box office records. The film surpassed Rs 300 crore mark at the ticket windows and what else could Shraddha ask for! Interestingly, both Saaho and Chhichhore were set to clash at the box office on August 30, however the makers of Nitesh Tiwari's directorial pushed Chhichhore's release to September 6. Clash or no clash, luck was clearly in favour of Shraddha as both of her films performed exceptionally. Saaho did get mixed reviews from the audience and critics, however the box office collections had a different story to tell.
As far as Chhichhore is concerned, the film struck a right chord with masses. And thanks to a strong and positive word of mouth, the Nitesh Tiwari directorial ft. Shraddha Kapoor and many others continued its dream run at the box office. We saw Shraddha grow from a college-going girl to a mother and this transition in the film was captured so beautifully.
Needless to say, after the back-to-back success of her films, when BollywoodLife sat down for an exclusive conversation with Shraddha Kapoor, we had lots to ask the actress. And being her sweetest self, Shraddha answered everything so patiently. Shraddha mentioned that she did wish for her films to do perform extremely well. At the same time, she revealed how her parents reacted after watching Saaho and Chhichhore. The actress further spoke about the ups and downs in her filmy career and much more.
