Coolie No 1 Fire Accident: Jackky Bhagnani Thanks Mumbai Police And The BMC Officials For Their Immediate Assistance

In a shocking development, the shooting of Varun Dhawan-Sara Ali Khan's Coolie No 1 came to halt after fire broke on the sets of the film. The fire broke out at 1 AM on Wednesday when there were 15 workers present on the set. The fire brigade were called in who managed to put out the flame and no one was injured. And after everything came back to normalcy, Jackky Bhagnani, has now thanked personnel for their efforts to control the situation. Taking to Twitter, Jackky posted a noted thanking everyone for their concern and wishes. "We would like to thank the Firefighters ,Mumbai Police and the BMC officials for their immediate assistance, after a concerning situation on the sets of #Coolieno1 The fire was put out immediately with no casualties. I want to thank everyone for their concern and wishes[sic]," tweeted Jackky Bhagnani today. That's a pleasant gesture from a producer!

Coolie No 1 is the remake of yesteryear classic hit starring Govinda and Karisma Kapoor which was directed by David Dhawan. The remake stars Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles. The makers recently revealed the first look posters of the film and looks like it is going to be a promising entertainer. Varun dons the coolie avatar while Sara Ali Khan looks gorgeous in her role. Before the shooting commenced, director David Dhawan said that he was in two minds about the remake and wasn't too sure. "After re-watching the original, I started working on the script. For six months, I wondered if I should make it or not. Finally, I decided to adapt it. It's actually a new film. I've worked on it for almost a year with the original writer Rumi Jaffery on the screenplay and Farhad Samji on the dialogue," David Dhawan recently said in a statement.
