Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan starrer Mission Mangal is unstoppable at the ticket windows. The space drama witnessed a huge growth as it raked in around Rs 24 crore and now stands with the grand total of Rs 70 crore. Looking at the current scenario, we are expecting the film to cross the 90 crore mark in its extended weekend of 4 days. The film is all set to enter the Rs 100 crore club on Monday and Tuesday and will become the 10th film of 2019 to achieve this feat after Uri: The Surgical Strike, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Gully Boy, Total Dhamaal, Kesari, Bharat, De De Pyaar De, Kabir Singh and Super 30.
Akshay, who has featured alongside five actresses in "Mission Mangal", said: "These days two heroes hardly want to work together. Even if they do, they do it after repeated requests. This doesn't happen in Hollywood. It only happens here and it is very sad."Expressing his interest in doing a multiple-hero film, the actor said: "I would love to work in a four-hero or five-hero subject. It doesn't matter as long as your role is fine and you know you are part of a good film. I don't know, is it the insecurity that matters to them (actors of today) or anything else, I have failed to understand."
Directed by Jagan Shakti, the film also stars Nithya Menen, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha and Kirti Kulhari in key roles. So, have you watched Mission Mangal? Tweet to us @bollywood_life
