Today is an auspicious day for Parsis across the globe. It is the beginning of the new year for them and people from the Parsi community are exchanging pleasantries and warm greetings to each other. Parsi New Year is celebrated with great fervour and enthusiasm as the Parsis wear new clothes and visit temples. Also, the word 'Nowruz' means a new day and hence it is a celebration for Iranians and Zoroastrians. On this occasion, Bollywood celebrities have extended their warm wishes to fans via social media.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan took to his Twitter handle and tweeted, "Happy Parsi New Year .. Navroz Mubarak." Like Big B, Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Diana Penty, Randeep Hooda, Malaika Arora, Riteish Deshmukh, Kajol wished fans Navroz Mubarak today.
