Popular Malayalam Singer Biju Narayanan is a bereaved man. His wife, Sreelatha passed away today after a long battle with cancer. She was only 44. The couple had tied the knot in 1998. Over time, they were blessed with two sons, Siddharth and Surya Narayanan. Biju became a household name in the 1990's after the song from Pathu Veluppinu, Venkalam became a hit in the South Indian states. He has sung more than 400 songs in his long career. The funeral will reportedly happen at their residence in Kalamassery in Kerala.

Biju and Sreelatha got married on January 23, 1998. They completed 21 years of togetherness. They were classmates in Maharajas College, Ernakulam and fell in love while studying. In January, he put up pics of their Wedding Anniversary celebrations. Biju took to Instagram earlier in January this year to share pictures of their wedding anniversary celebration. He captioned them, "Wedding anniversary pictures, yesterday's (sic)." In an earlier interview with Times of India, Biju spoke about his children. He said, "My eldest son Sidharth is also a DJ, who goes by the name DJ Dumblo. He is more into English music and is also an LLB student in Bengaluru. Suryaa is still at school and sings well."
