We got the news of Karan Singh Grover shooting for his Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2 promo while Namit Khanna has beaten Nakuul Mehta to bag the lead role opposite Surbhi Chandna in the Sanjeevani remake. Karan Oberoi has finally been granted bail by the authorities. Here is a detailed lowdown....

Manish Naggdev

The actor took to Twitter to state details of his break-up with Srishty Rode. They were a couple before she entered the house. However, her proximity with Rohit Suchanti inside the house sent tongues wagging. In a long note on Twitter, he said how she did not give him proper closure as well. He wrote, "She had broken up with me over a phone call and when I had asked her if we could talk about it face to face, She replied saying "I am at the peak of my career I don't wish to be in this relationship anymore & as it is I am detached,what is left to talk about?" That was a sudden shock to me. How could my fiance break the relationship which was heading towards marriage,over a single phone call? After that there was complete silence from her side forever. Don't you think,the least I deserved was a proper closure? Now after 6 months of suffering and trying to move on from the terible experience,and wondering what I did wrong,I started connecting the dots."

Namit Khanna

The actor who is famous for his work on the web-series, Twisted has apparently been finalised to play the lead opposite Surbhi Chandna in the remake of Sanjeevani. A source close to Namit confirmed to BollywoodLife that he is on board. He was last seen on the show, Yeh Pyaar Nahi Toh Kya Hai with Palak Jain.

Karan Singh Grover

The actor is finalised for Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2 as Mr Rishabh Bajaj. It is finally official. The actor is making a comeback as a daily soap character after 2013 when he was seen in the superhit Qubool Hai. Post that, he got married to Bipasha Basu in 2016 and was trying his luck in Bollywood. Karan Wahi was also in contention but KSG beat him to bag the coveted role.

Karan Oberoi

The TV actor and singer has finally been granted bail and should be out from Taloja jail in a day or two. Karan was arrested after a 34-year-old astrologer complained to the Oshiwara police that he allegedly raped her under the pretext of marriage and later blackmailed her saying he did leak her intimate pictures. A woman was also attacked by four men who later confessed to the police that they were paid to reportedly fake the attack. Karan's lawyers have demanded a fair and impartial probe in the matter.

Krrip Suri

There were rumours of the actor's marriage being in trouble due to the actor's closeness with Aparna Dixit, his former co-star. He rubbished them saying that he was great friends with her and that his wife was aware of it. He told a daily, "If you share great on-screen chemistry with your co-actor, it doesn t mean that you are dating her. We are paid to play our parts convincingly, and if we don t share good on-screen chemistry, the audience will not like us. There was nothing between Aparna and me. My wife knows that and in fact, she and Aparna are good friends. Yes, it took her some time to come to terms with the demands of my profession, but she understands it better now. Rumours of Simran dating a female colleague are baseless, too."
