Purab Kohli Names His Baby Boy Osian Nur; Here's What It Means

Hip Hip Hurray and Rock On actor Purab Kohli welcomed home a baby boy on January 26, 2019. In fact, his son was born a day before Ekta Kapoor's son. The little one has been named Osian Nur. He already has a daughter Inaya Amelia. He is married to Lucy Payton and the couple have made sure that their babies names have a bit of both their cultures. Well, the name Osian is very popular for boys in Welsh. It is derived from the great poet and warrior Oisin. And as we know, Nur means light. In Irish, Osian means little deer and that's the actual origin of the name. It is pronounced as OSH-een. Surely, the couple has put in a lot of thought into the naming of their little bundle of joy. The actor has been at home since a few months to care for his wife and daughter. Purab and Lucy married last year in an intimate ceremony in Goa. This was two years after the birth of their first child, Inaya.

Sandhya Mridul was one of the first to congratulate him on social media. The couple were introduced to each other through his sister, Rima who was also a part of the John Hopkins University where Lucy studied. They met and became friends. Purab shattered quite a few taboos when he decided to marry after the birth of his child. He told Hindustan Times, "No! My parents have always been supportive of my decisions. I understand that the decisions I have made with Lucy have shaken the foundations [of the] institution of marriage, but my family was evolved enough to accept us."
