Renowned filmmaker in Telugu, Vijaya Bapineedu, passed away today in Hyderabad due to age-related ailments. According to reports in Telugu media, the veteran producer breathed his last in the wee hours of Tuesday. The family will hold the final rites on Tuesday which is expected to be attended by the entire Telugu Film industry. Bapineedu has produced many hit films in Telugu with stars like Chiranjeevi, Shoban Babu, Krishna and many others. The veteran is known for delivering chartbuster films like Khaidi No 786, Magadheerudu, Hero, Gang Leader and many others. Most of his films have been with top stars like Shobhan Babu and Chiranjeevi and all of them are mourning his loss.
Apparently, Bapineedu has been away from films for a long time and is said to have suffered losses with projects made in the late 90s. Reports suggest that he tried to revive a few projects but never received support from the film industry and hence decided to distance himself from prominent actors.
Reports also reveal that the producer had a tiff with one of the top stars during the making of one of their films which led to the duo never working again. Rumour has it that it is because of this star that he could never make another film leading to his downfall.
But now the filmmaker s journey has come to an end and we pray for his soul to rest in peace.
