We are rapping every minute of every day, courtesy - Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt and the vibe of Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy that is all set to release on 14th February! Yes, we might not have original compositions to jam to but Apna Time Aayega has enough apnapan for all. That and Ranveer's power-packed pitch that makes one pick up the mic and go! And that made us think- won't it be amazeballs if Ranveer had his own B-town rap squad? We thought so! Which is precisely why we asked him to make it happen and name more people he would want to take in as the members!

That's right, in a recent candid interview, we asked them to list out people who would make it to their squad and Ranveer's first and unanimous choice was his 'Homegirl' Alia and then he picked co-actor Siddhant Chaturvedi who is playing a pivotal part in the film. Not just that, on probing further, Alia said that Big B Amitabh Bachchan would make their team a perfect 4. Ranveer even went on to add, "He has rapped. He is a rapper! We would definitely have Mr Bachchan." Alia even explained how and why, and stated, "He is supreme with music and poetry and writing. And he has got solid knowledge!" Watch the video below:

Earlier, Ranveer had revealed how he has always been into Hip Hop, even as a kid and had said, "I have been listening to rap ever since I was a kid, like a really young age. My cousin who migrated to the US would come back with cassette tapes and that time there used to be no internet (but) the lyrics you could find in the inlay. So, we used to mug up the lyrics. At a young age, I didn t understand what these guys are rapping about but I could recognise that there was real angst. Off late, ever since I have gotten into Hindustani Hip Hop, I don t listen to anything else. I only listen to Divine, Naezy, Emiway, Kaam Bhari and Spitfire."
