Why Cheat India Box Office Collection Day 2: Emraan Hashmi's Film Witnesses A Steady Growth

Emraan Hashmi and Shreya Dhanwanthary's Why Cheat India opened to mixed reviews from the critics and audience when it hit the screens January 18, 2019. The film, which revolves around the theme of corruption and malpractices in the education system in the country, raked in just Rs 1.71 crore on the first day at the box office. Sharing the box office numbers on his social media handle, trade analyst Taran Adarsh had tweeted, "#WhyCheatIndia is a non-starter... Needs miraculous growth over the weekend to post a decent total... Fri 1.71 cr. India biz." And looks like the film is slowly and steadily picking up at the box office. As compared to the day one figures, Why Cheat India has witnessed a steady growth at the ticket windows.

As per reports, Why Cheat India, directed by Soumik Sen, has collected Rs 2.45 crore at the box office. We hope, the film witnesses growth in the coming days as well. Our editor-in-chief reviewed Why Cheat India and wrote, "For students and parents both, Why Cheat India is a must watch to experience the lesser known facts about the prevalent system. Also, Emraan fans will be in for a real treat!"

Producer under Bhushan Kumar, Atul Kasbekar, Krishan Kumar, Why Cheat India, showcases Emraan playing the role of an agent (Rakesh Singh) who helps wealthy students pass exams by making bright but economically backward students write their papers. Keep following this space for more updates!
