After Monalisa, Arshi Khan becomes a hot daayan for Savitri Devi College and Hospital – view pics!

After naagins, the newest fad for TV seems to be daayans or witches. Clearly, Supernatural Elements are ruling the roost. We have seen Bhojpuri femme fatale Monalisa playing a hot daayan in Nazar. Now, it is Arshi Khan’s turn to become one for Savitri Devi College and Hospital. While it is tough to understand how a daayan fits in a medical drama, we know never to expect the mundane from Rashmi Sharma Productions. After all, they made a family drama like Sasural Simar Ka, a playing field of all sorts of supernatural and bizarre stuff. Arshi is doing a cameo on the show and has begun shooting for the same. It seems Veer (Varun Kapoor) and Sanchi (Swarda Thigale) who have become friends have by chance freed a spirit who will create havoc in the hospital. Arshi is playing that spirit.

It will be revealed that some students in the hostel were playing some games dealing with supernatural elements and the institution hushed up the matter. The actress told FilmyMonkey.com that her role is that of Nayantara who gets killed along with her child in the hospital. She comes back as a spirit to seek revenge from those concerned. Fans of the show have not taken much to the introduction of this sudden supernatural twist on the show. She also told the portal, “I have previously said that my ‘Maayka’ (Colors) will give me good work and they have given me. The role I have been offered is quite good, which if played well can become a memorable one in Indian television industry. I am glad the channel allowed me to showcase my talent in one of their shows.” Stay tuned to BL for more scoops!
