Armaan Kohli was arrested by the Mumbai Police on Tuesday from a friend’s farmhouse in Lonavala. As per a report in Bombay Times, the Bombay High Court has told the actor and former Bigg Boss contestant to express regret and remorse for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, Neeru Randhawa. He was told to give an assurance that he would not repeat such behaviour in the future. The court took Randhawa’s statement that she got a wound on the head after falling down a flight of stairs. The paper reported that Kohli who is being represented by Satish Maneshinde was told to submit an affidavit today. The paper should express remorse. It seems Armaan and Neeru arrived at a settlement and he has financially compensated her as well. (Also Read: Armaan Kohli arrested by Mumbai police for assaulting live-in partner Neeru Randhawa)
The paper reported Justice RM Savant as saying, “We have to record her statement. She has to be present. We are going to record what amount she has received. This is the second such incident.” It seems Kohli after a bad argument with Randhawa over some financial issue got physical abusive. He allegedly pushed her down the stairs and banged her head against the floor. Neeru who was taken to the hospital by her driver complained to the cops. The police filed an FIR against Kohli under sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 326 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt with dangerous weapons or means), 504 (intentional insult to provoke breach of peace) and 506 (criminal intimidation). Maneshinde told the bench that the parties have agreed to settle the matter and move on in life. It seems families and friends stepped in and told them to call it a truce.
