Despite the break-up, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone continue to be good friends. The fact that they have worked together in two movies (Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Tamasha) even after putting an end to their relationship says it all. We all know that the two were madly in love with each other. So much that Deepika even went on to get Ranbir’s initials inked on the nape of her neck. Their relationship came to an end, but Deepika has chose to keep the Tattoo till date. However, when she made her final red carpet appearance at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival 2018 in a shocking pink gown with dramatic train, the tattoo was not to be seen in the photos.

Fans started asking the same question yet again. But let us tell you that she has not removed the tattoo. She just used makeup to hide it.

It’s not the first time she has done this. Remember that Bangladeshi advertisement she did for a soap brand that went viral on the internet in 2016? In the ad, she did not have a tattoo, after which rumours started doing the rounds that she got rid of it, but Deepika put squashed the rumours without uttering a word when she made a debut at Cannes Film Festival last year. As she posed for the shutterbugs, the RK tattoo was very much there. In fact, she flaunted the tattoo with no regrets. We wonder why did she hide it this time. Anyway, Deepika and Ranbir have both moved on in life, the actress is in a steady relationship with Ranveer Singh. Ranbir on the other hand was in a long relationship with Katrina Kaif after his split with Deepika. There were rumours of Ranbir dating the Pakistani actress Mahira Khan post his much public break-up with Katrina. Buzz has been that Mahira-Ranbir love affair too didn’t last and the actor has not found a partner in Alia Bhatt.

On work front the Kapoor lad has Sanjay Dutt biopic directed by Rajkumar Hirani and Ayan Mukerji’s ambitious trilogy Brahmastra that features Alia and Amitabh Bachchan. Deepika was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. She was suppose to start shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj’s next with Irrfan Khan. However, the film is on hold due to Irrfan’s sudden health scare.
