Varun Dhawan is riding high on the success of his last Film, October. Not only the critics, but the audience, too, showered praises on Varun. But how did the most special person in Varun‘s life react to the film? That is the question everybody has been asking. So when journalist Rajeev Masand asked Varun about Natasha’s reaction to the film, Varun was not reluctant like he usually is when he talks about her. “She is happy. She is very happy because most of my school friends are my critics. I really wait for them to see the film and comment on it. This is one film where unanimously I have had my school friends, with whom I have not been in touch for 10 years texting me,” said Varun.

Varun plays the character of Dan, who is very innocent and caring, in October. When asked if Natasha specifically reacted to his character and said if she wants to have Dan as a partner, Varun said, “Oh, you mean anyone would think that I would want a boyfriend like that. We know that Varun doesn’t really talk about his relationship very often. When asked why, he said, “I feel it takes away from your personal life. That’s the only reason I don’t talk about it because whether you are in or not in, people are going to write about it, there will be blind items.”

October was released on April 13. The film has so far grossed over Rs 40 crore at the domestic box office. Directed by Shoojit Sircar, the film marked the debut of Banita Sandhu.
