Varun Dhawan’s October Grosses Over Rs 60 Crore At The Worldwide Box Office

Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu starrer October has managed to perform decently well at the global box office. Despite targeting to the niche audience, the drama Film has made a mark in the domestic as well as international markets. Till now, October has grossed Rs 52.42 crore (nett Rs 40.33 crore) in India and Rs 8.50 crore at the overseas box office. The film now stands with the grand total of Rs 60.92 crore at the worldwide market.

The film has already entered the profit zone and because of its tight project, smart marketing and pre-release deals. As per many movie buffs and critics, October is one of the finest performances of lead actor Varun Dhawan. Our critic Ankita Chaurasia gave the film three and a half stars and said, “If you while away your time reading poetries, thinking about soulmates, finding the meaning of your existence in sunsets, comparing life to flowers, and questioning your place in the universe – October will certainly be worth your while.” (Also Read: Varun Dhawan’s casual yet charming sense of style is the reason why he’s such a favourite with all of us)

October is directed by Shoojit Sircar, who previously helmed films like Piku, Madras Cafe and Vicky Donor. The film is written by Juhi Chaturvedi and presented under the banner of Rising Sun Films. The film is produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar and also stars Gitanjali Rao and Sahil Vedoliyaa in pivotal roles.
